Does the band travel? Yes! We love to travel and have performed across the Country and overseas for events of all types including festivals, corporate events, fundraisers, weddings, Mardi Gras events, and many other private parties! The band has performed in 30 States from California to Texas to Vermont and everywhere in-between and can provide quotes either with or without production and will take care of all travel, so booking is seamless and stress free!
What makes the 12South show special? 12South isn’t your typical band! We’ve spent more than a decade curating a super high-energy, specialized show that keeps dance floors packed and guests wowed from start to finish! Our group performs a medley-style show with close to 100 songs from all eras and genres that intertwines tons of choreography, outfit changes, and fun crowd interaction throughout the show…we like to call it an Experience, and many have described it as an interactive concert that doesn’t stop! The band typically performs without any breaks and flows from song to song more like a DJ!
Does the band provide lighting and sound? Yes! The band has the option to bring all lighting, sound, back-line, and techs to each Event! We can provide quotes with full or partial production or can provide discounts when Events are providing full production. 12South does carry more production than most bands with a large PA and a fully programmed lighting show designed to match the music.
What does the band require for booking? The band has a contract and Rider we send for review and signature with a 50% deposit to hold a date (deposits can be divided up when requested). The band books up to 18 months in advance and can put a soft hold on dates up to 24 months out.
What are the differences in your dance bands? All of our dance bands perform the same song list with varying degrees of production and size. 12South is our largest group with the highest production level and most band members with a 12 or 15 piece option. Our sister band 8South is scaled back a touch in size to 9 or 10 pieces. For weekday corporate events in Nashville using smaller venues or needing shorter time-frames, we do have 6-8 piece configurations available by request.
Do you offer other packages in addition to your Dance bands? Yes! Our Nash County country/rock group offers 2-12 piece packages and travels Nation-wide. We also have jazz ensembles, string trios, and even solo musicians available to create background ambiance at any Event or for things like cocktail hour or ceremony music.
Do you offer ceremony, cocktail, or dinner music as well? We have many options for this part of an Event. We offer solo up to small group options with everything from keys to strings, Country duos, jazz ensembles, and more. Feel free to inquire with our booking coordinator for all of our small band packages.
Is customization available? Yes! While we have spent more than a decade curating a crowd-pleasing and high-energy interactive show that leaves guests raving, our bands can do full customization from the outfits to the music to the production elements.
